Experience + Fun = Learning!
Making Science Fun!

Are your kids getting the science they need?
Are they excited about learning?

In many elementary schools, science is given a backseat to reading, writing and math. And while those subjects are very important we cannot neglect science. It's the heart of our daily lives… cooking, gardening, driving a car, even the weather and throwing a snowball…all involve science. Elementary school is the perfect time to get kids interested in science—when they are naturally curious. Science fuels that curiousity and instills valuable skills, ideas and an enthusiasm for learning. And learning to question and find answers is an important skill for life.

At KidScience, we excell at hands-on science, meaning kids learn by experience and having fun. They learn important science concepts like motion and gravity through rocket launches and catapults; energy and electricty through building motors; and sound by making musical instruments. But even more important, kids develope a enthusiasm for learning and a love of science that will last them a lifetime.

Your child can experience the KidScience way of learning with our popular summer day camps. This is our 14th year of camp in Santa Rosa where we combine science with art and games. Each week focuses on a theme that is woven through all three subjects. New weeks this summer: Ready, Set, Fire2!—you guessed it—thing’s will be flying!; and Food Science—campers will design their own ice cream! For more details, click onto our Santa Rosa page.

This summer we’ve added a camp in Petaluma in addition to our camps in Nevada City and Tahoe City. Click on the buttons to the left for details.

We hope to see you at one of our camps this summer! Call (707) 793-2251 with questions.
